As you now know from previously blog post, I hate to wait. Not to mention the wait in line to get into a club. I can possibly wait up to 30 minutes then after that I'm done (which is another story in a later post because I actually waited for 2 hours in Vancouver), I gave up. Because of that I usually go to the club early, like in its first hour of operation. It's less crowded, no cover charge, and get ready to feel the vibe.
here lounge is tiny. It was already crowded on Rascal Night (See earlier entry) so by the time I arrived around 8, it was quite moderately crowded. Once again, Josh Vaughn saw me first. I really begin to wonder do I look too obvious because honestly it's not like I see Josh everyday or once a week.
Every Saturday at here lounge is "Destination here". 8-10pm that night was ChiChi LaRue DJing, once again with Josh Vaughn, Blake Riley and Cameron Marshall.
I really like the concept of it because the projector continuously showing the airline-themed stuff (and you know me), so it was the best combo ever. *wink
I was at the inner bar area of the club, leaning at the counter, grooving with the music slightly. Sometimes I did had sort of mini choreography at work. It was very fun, despite I was alone. I don't care, once you're in the mood and in the vibe, nothing can stop it. Sister Roma was there at the DJ booth and so does Andy of Channel 1 Releasing's publicist. I recognized Sister Roma because it was for obvious reason. I was briefly introduced to Andy, who looked cute, by Jason Sechrest later that night. There were also few others I don't recognize because, I'm not a WeHoer *wink (Besides I always have short term memories).
So as the night goes, finally Angel Benton shows up. We always seems to have this outrageous or bizarre hello hugs. Probably it's because of my outrageousness. LOL. Apparently he was at the pride festivities all day and I missed him. Which wasn't surprising because there were too many attendees there anyways. Not to mention closing entire block of street, community center, playground and parking lot. It's just crazy. So afterward I seems to be more alive because I entered another vibe, people interaction. Yes, I was sort of conservative, following people around, but hey, I'm improving. The only problem that may never solved is communication. My throat doesn't have the capability to allow me talking loug to other people.
The boys of Cockyboys (except Exclusive Jesse Santana) were there, giving away free coupon codes, towels...etc. Angel originally had one but I asked was that a t-shirt or what he said it's a towel and I think I asked where did you get it, then he just gave it to me. That's sweet of you :)
It was 10pm and it was The Perry Twins' slot for DJing for the rest of the night. They look hot already on their album cover and they look even hotter in person with their signature white hootie jacket.
By that time my camera battery died so I didn't had chance to take more pics afterwards. And due to the lighting exposure issues, the pics of The Perry Twins wasn't as good as I would like to be.
Later that night, Jason Sechrest showed up after the FAME Award from Erotic LA (See previous post). He looked sexy that night too. Angel already introduced me to ChiChi briefly when she was wrapping up DJing for a picture. By the time enters 11pm hour, ChiChi was at her Channel 1's VIP table, getting drunk and buzzed. When I say hi to La Sechrest, he introduced me to ChiChi, trying to tell her I was the one who started the shitstorm over Jesse Santana Incident on D&R. ChiChi looked buzzed and gestured, which can be translated into "don't you dare talking about that bullshit with me tonight or I'll kill you". La Sechrest said sorry to me and explained because she was drunk. At that time, Sister Roma commented she saw me shaking some groove because I was facing her when I was leaning at the bar counter.
Now, as much as I shallowly concluded this encounter as "ChiChi shunned me". This is a way of to make fun of myself. But to set the record straight, I am NOT offended. I'm NOT the person who is extremely bothered about people being dismissive or have no interest to know me about something because I'm nobody. Particularly at a club/bar. That's the reality. UNLIKE SOMEONE who is extremely bothered since 2003 because he and his work partner think they were dismissed and unwelcome because they were nobody, thinking it was someone's fault for throwing the ball out at the first place. The girl was drinking and drunk and having fun. Why ruin it? I took it lightly and thought it was funny especially Angel told me when we were at Little Tokyo that she's drunk nightly. So under the scenario, anything could happen. So may be a feud occurs due to when someone misunderstood and not being understanding, which later turns into hostility.
La Sechrest gave me a mission. He wants me to find Angel. At that time Angel said he was out for a street cruising for a circle of block and will be back. Of course he never came back into the lounge. By midnight you can barely move around because the tiny initimate lounge was PACKED with oceans of people. I actually circled at least 10 times to look for Angel. I had no intention to leave the lounge because it will take another hour in the line to wait to get back in. I asked La Sechrest whether he has Angel's number but he told me no, not cell phone. Otherwise things would've been easier to do text messaing, hehe.
I already raised my voice too high and since it doesn't have the capability to do so, and I was tired from running across town, so I left around 1230 or 1. Of course I told Jason I was leaving and by that time, he looked really hot. May be it was HUI? (Hot under influence)
I tried to get a cab back to hostel. There was one cabbie really bitchy, he won't accept my request. So I stood on the street for 10 minutes before I can get a cab back to hostel.
That was Pride Saturday night. Of course Joss Stone performed at the main stage of pride festival at 930pm, which I missed it. May be it wasn't too bad otherwise I'd been waiting forever to get in.
By the way, Josh, Cameron and Blake looked hot when dancing on stage. I also saw Jonathan Chiang that night. I was introduced to him by La Sechrest for the first time in person on Wednesday Rascal night. I wasn't even aware he was in a relationship with Bobby Trendy?
