Some of the highlights:

ChiChi LaRue's official comment on the drama after GayVN 2009 2 months ago, saying "I don't want cops to knock on my doors at night or having a boyfriend punching you in your face"

Honey West calls herself "an elephant" because of skinny bitch, referring to ChiChi's weight loss, which looks amazing

Tyler Saint was supposed to share the stage with Nash Lawler, but a no-show for some reason

Diesel Washington brought his mother and mom's boyfriend to the show, which ChiChi from time to time making fun of Diesel's mom. Several parts on this was hilarious but Diesel's mom played the ball along and enjoying herself

ChiChi changed her outfit, in tribute to Grace Jones. But the style actually reminded me of Kylie Minogue's video "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", although ChiChi's outfit is in blue.

ChiChi and Wolf dishes about the shitstorm few weeks ago due to Wolf's answer on his sexuality. When Blake Riley shares the stage with ChiChi, she joked Blake turned 100% str8 after the filming of "Shifting Gears"

The Biggest dramatic mood change, was when the humble turned teary Steven Scarborough receives life time achievement award, giving credits to the business and personal partner Chuck Holmes. That later also made Nick Young teary, not in the theater, but in the cab.

Grabbys 2009 is hosted by ChiChi LaRue and Honey West. This year's co-host features Channel 1 Exclusive Blake Riley, CockyBoys Exclusive Wolf Hudson as well as Brent Corrigan.

I arrived at Park West Theatre around 550pm so it was still quiet but the crews were getting ready for the red carpet portion of the show. Sister Roma looking fierce as always

As the first red carpet interview went on, the legendary Ms. ChiChi LaRue arrived along with the Channel 1 Releasing crew - Jeremy Bilding, Cameron Marshall and Blake Riley - as well as Jason Sechrest. Of course, they went straight to the red carpet. ChiChi looks AMAZING when she slimmed down. Followed by the C1R crew interview, Jade from RuPaul's Drag Race also appeared and she later made a brief appearance on the stage.

Nick Young, which I later met that night(I hope he likes me), went along to the red carpet with Brandon Baker, who later that night promotes the after party - Beach.

Falcon crew later showed up, with TJ Hawke (where did you get that abs?) , Aden and Jordan Jaric (ugh, jealous!), Erik Rhodes (looking all sobered up, mature and handsome than ever), Ty Colt (who just celebrated his birthday 2 nights before) as well as Roman Heart who brought his "home made 7-Elven Vodka" (and the way he presented this looks like tv infomercial)

I didn't watch all the red carpet segment because I later went into the theater to get set - drinks, pictures, hellos, getting seated.

The Edge Radio Show with Viz and Cole were also doing live broadcast at the theater, along with MaleFlixxx.tv, so there were actually 3 main interviews going on.

Grabbys Event & IML

Thursday Night (21MAY09) is the kick off party for the Grabbys, dubbed Skintrade 2, at The Hydrate.

This is the 2nd year in a row that ChiChi LaRue is DJing. The DJ set, as usual, were fierce.

Featured performer includes Wolf Hudson, Blake Riley, Cameron Marshall,Jeremy Bilding, Adam Killian, Ty Colt, Erik West, Austin Wilde, Tommy DiFendi and much much more.

The following day is the IML. I wasn't penned to be part of the booth for ID Lube/RentBoy/FabScout (this will be explained later on another blog) but I was there for Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Howard from FabScout got everyone ready to go to the booth to give out free lube. Wolf Hudson, Bobby Clark, Tommy DiFendi, Scotty Brooks, Aden Stone, Austin Wilde, Ryan Raz and many more were there. By Saturday, due to the rehearsal at the Grabbys, I was left all alone looking after the booth.

Couple of porn stars also dropped by the booth as well. And here's the clip of Erik West wrestling Aden Stone, and later the security came in telling us to stop.

First, if this was leaked out first before official announcement posted on Jason Sechrest's jasoncurious.com, I apologize for this cause it wasn't officially announced on his site.... Because this was up for about 2 hours from 12 to 2am Pacific time earlier today.

As an agent/manager, Jason Sechrest's new company is set on creating superstars of the genre, launching with a small roster of big talent.

(WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA) -- On the eve of The 2009 GayVN Awards, one of the biggest nights in the gay erotic film industry, JASON SECHREST has announced the launch of a new management company for that industry's performers, DV8 Casting. At 29 years old, SECHREST has served the adult entertainment industry for over 10 years as a reporter, publicist, director, talk show host, club emcee and web entrepreneur. This will mark his first foray into managing the stars he's interviewed for a decade.

DV8 Casting lifts off with PHILLIP AUBREY, RYAN FOXXX, JOSH GRIFFIN, BEAU MARCUS, JASON PITT, SHANE RISK, MASON ROSS and JOSH VAUGHN signed to SECHREST's roster exclusively for all video, print, online and live appearance bookings. "My main motivation is to create superstars, so I'm looking for performers who have a lot of potential they haven't yet reached or performers who are reaching their potential but aren't being promoted enough," SECHREST explains. "I'm being really selective because I don't want the roster to get too big. I want it to be a really prestigious and special thing to be a part of the DV8 family."

In his first days as an agent/manager, SECHREST has already placed JOSH GRIFFIN in his Jet Set Men debut for this year's GayVn Hall of Fame inductee CHRIS STEELE's football-themed movie "Tackle," and has booked PHILLIP AUBREY as the lead in multi-award winning director CHI CHI LARUE's biggest budget production so far this year, "TAKE."
